New York skate label Supreme have unveiled their Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook and from the look of things, they’ve gone in hard as usual. As much as the hype train for the brand has carried momentum, since the opening of their London spot, they certainly don’t disappoint here.
This rather large collection consists of staple pieces including a variation of hats; New Era fitters, snapbacks and 5-panels; coach jackets and pullover hoods. Sophisticated menswear make up the rest of the collection with a more fashion forward approach. Classic jackets like the bomber gets a superb suede spin with a plaid lining, the Harrington gets a rather extravagant couture Ottoman all over print. Speaking of prints, they play a major part in this capsule and mark my personal favourites, them being both Hawaiian and reptile short sleeve shirts, woodland camouflage leg wear, a floral pullover hood which has its print on the lining of the Schott Leather Flight Jacket that’s made of a really buff buttery leather — quite possibly the most desirable piece here.
There are plenty more items making up the collection including accessories, which we’ll definitely shout about the best bits real soon. In the meantime, have a butchers through Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook below. The collection’s to drop this Thursday 23rd February at the label’s London spot.
