With all major brand’s becoming more and more environmentally friendly Land Rover’s latest offering is no different. The Range Rover Evoque, bearing a striking resemblance to the LRX concept car which debuted at the Detroit motor show, will be the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient Range Rover ever produced. With sleek contours and futuristic stylings customers have a choice of both a four-wheel drive, or a two-wheel drive variant, with a sub 130g per km CO2 demonstrating the Range Rover brand’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Wait for a glimpse of the new Evoque in the video.  The most interesting bit to me is where one of the Tech guys say it will do 50 Miles per Gallon.  What do you think? I guess it will have to be seen to be believed.

We expect Land Rover to fill in the blanks and details about the production credits of the Range Rover Evoque when the coupe makes its public debut at the Paris Motor Show on September 30, 2010. The Evoque will be on sale in the summer of 2011.
