I have just pre-ordered my copy of the book after my facination with my Hermès scarf (Nolte Neck Scarf – complimented by bold patterns and the premium bonded silk with twill detailing.) It was this time last year when I attended the Hermès corporate party in West Kensington where I was given 4 neck scraves and a set a limited Boeing H.B sunglasses from Craig Bradshaw (events organizer) so it is almost an omen for me to pick up this book for sentimental reasons.
Now onto the book, “The Hermès Scarf: History and Mystique” documents the rise of this fashion institution through essays about the company’s inception as well as in-depth examinations of the inimitable scarf’s design, complimented by stunning pictures of the many patterns and prints making up their 2,000-strong collection. – C.H .
