UK Basketball has never had a big presence over here, but with players in the NBA like Luol Deng, Ben Gordon and Pops Mensah-Bonsu the level of standard is rising quickly. This new independent movie, opened today in cinemas (Empire Leicester Square) is a movie about a law student who goes to private school and falls in love with a streetball player. They enter a competition together, but against eachother? 2 of my boys, Big Fen and Tarryn Algar are two of the actors in it and they look as if they did quite a good job, I must admit. All of the freestyle and basketball scenes performed by the main characters were put together by Big Fen. Tarryn who is one of the best (street/court) ballers in the country and Big Fen who is the freestyle KING in the UK really helps solidify the status of UK basketball and now actually helps me to look forward to the 2012 olympic games! I may even come out of retirement and show these young kids a thing or two… !!

One thing I dont understand…. The movie comes out today in the cinema and comes out on DVD on Monday???
