Last month we gave you a heads up on this: Kidrobot launched on Friday 21st!
We also gave you a heads up on us being there, to take in what was on offer. Fans of the brand had waited for hours for the evenings festivities to begin, with a queue growing ever longer by the minute. Passers by were puzzled as to what could cause such a stir, and once their queries were answered, most raised an eyebrow at the idea of waiting in the cold for a toy and clothing!
The first few people in line, were treated to a freebies and had the opportunity to get first dibs on 1 of 75 Kidrobot Krunk-A-Claus Dunny designed by Mike and Katie, better known as UK artist duo TADO.
Speaking of TADO, they were given a section of the store to sign, draw, and speak to eager fans of their work. Some took it an an opportunity to get extra personal touches on their TADO designed toys, causing an announcement for no excessive personal requests to be made!
The store itself: very clean, allowing the vibrant colours of their toys, and clothing to add all necessary colours to all clinical décor. Staff members were happy and more than willing to interact with every individual that walked through the door, offering insight and assistance into all things on show.
All in all: I think its safe to say that Kidrobot was very much accepted into the streets of London. Fingers crossed they will have more in-store for their loyal followers.
